A thankful heart is a grateful heart. The sweetest thing in the world is a list of thanksgiving by a five year old.
1. My Bed Well, now a ten year old's list is slightly different. 1. My Clothes Whew! I'm glad the family made the list. My point here is, get your family together and have each one make a list of things they are grateful for. They can be trivial things, it doesn't matter. All that matters is their list. Take each list and put them in a jar to read at the Thanksgiving dinner table. Before reading this list at dinner make a toast (with grape juice for the kids or milk) and toast to the good year and things you are grateful for, then take the jar and read each list. Save this list for the next year to see the growth in each child and the difference in how each list will change as they mature. Even as you mature. You will see the things that have happened in their lives and how they were effected by each year. Mom and Dad make the list also. You can share this with the family and then to add more to your marriage by making a list that is more personal to be read by each spouse at a seperate time; things that each of you are grateful for in the other. Family time is important. Family is Thanksgiving time. Live, Laugh and Love family style Go To Page: 1
