Free Projects for Easter

I've been surfing around looking for Easter fabric craft projects, but it seems that at this time of year people must be too busy with the important business of chocolate (and for some, the true reason for Easter) that they haven't time for making things out of fabric but quickly put something together with cardboard and glue. Here's what I've found -- if you know of any more projects, please share it with us through the Discussion pages. My favourite is this Bunny Towel/Bath Cover-up which isn't strictly speaking an Easter project but an anytime-of-the-year one, although I'm sure kids would love it in time for Easter. There's a cute Baby Bunny and a Styrofoam Ball and Fabric Bunny. I found two sites with pompon bunnies and chicks -- one at craft central station and the other at womansday. The secret to the No-Sew Beanbag Chick is it's glued! These two quick projects use wool: Chicks in a (wool) Nest and a Bunny Bug. You could successfully swap the wool for strips of fabric scraps. And while these aren't fabric crafts, no Easter would be complete without some home-made eggs. So what about some "Tie-dye" Easter Eggs or use these natural dyes for Easter eggs from Suite 101's Food crafts editor Finally, if you find you've never got time for crafting, read these 10 useful tips from Nancy's Notions.
Happy Easter!
