A less accurate way would be using the taped pencils; make the second pencil line on the paper instead of the fabric before you cut it out. The seam line may not be as accurate since you are doing a little guessing as to where to set down the sewing machine needle.

Once the pattern is cut out, you are ready to place it on the fabric either with pins or the iron and start to sew.
