"Kambae"

Soju is an extremely popular alcoholic beverage distilled from the sweet potato. The drink is predominately available in 375ml bottles and weighs in at between 25% and 30% alcohol by volume. It is available in virtually any local store and costs less than US1$ a bottle. Needless to say, it plays a major role in the life of Koreans and foreigners alike in this country.
