Say Oui To Paris!

The City of Lights is known for its museums, monuments, and bistros. Paris is thought of as one of the most romantic cities in the world, and now is your chance to discover it. France vacations is offering a $529 four-night package, including round trip airfare from the West Coast, hotel accommodations, a daily breakfast, and a cruise on the Seine.

You'll fly from Los Angeles to Paris on Corsair. The package also includes your hotel and city taxes, and a 10% discount at Galeries Lafayette. Departure dates are April 1-30th, 2002. For May departures, add $100 per person.

You have three hotels to pick from with the $529 package. If you want to pay more you can always upgrade. For the standard price, your choices include Jardin de Paris Montparnasse, Lyon-Mulhouse, and Moulin Vert.

At Jardin de Paris Montparnasse you'll start your day with breakfast in a traditional Parisian cellar. The hotel has 52 guest rooms and is five stories tall. The website I found describing the hotel has a photo of a skyscraper instead of a five story building. I am not sure what the tall building has to do with the hotel, but if you click on "check for other pictures" you will see pictures of the wine cellar restaurant and the cozy guest quarters. Hotel Lyon-Mulhouse is located just 100 meters from the Place de Bastille, a former prison during the French Revolution, and now home to museums and the Opera Bastille. In front of the hotel is the district of Le Marais. The neighborhood contains some of the oldest buildings in Paris. The hotel's 40 rooms are all equipped with a hair dryer and fax-modem jacks. Feel free to have your breakfast served in your room or at the breakfast lounge, while staying at the Moulin Vert. The idea of two viennoiseries, chocolate, cheese, and tea, while still snuggled in bed, sounds absolutely splendid to me. The hotel boasts an English speaking staff, in case your French is rusty or non-existent. The Moulin Vert is located just 15 minutes from the center of Paris and close to a variety of attractions. You have three great hotels to choose from and a whole city waiting to be explored.
