Lush green hills, dancing Leprechauns, pots of gold.....the magical land O’ Ireland! You will surely see some lush green hills on the Emerald Isle; spotting Leprechauns and pots of gold doesn’t come with the package, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen! Ireland does claim to be the home of fairies and little people.

Fare Deals Ltd. is offering a fabulous package to Ireland this Spring. For $599 per person you’ll spend 6 nights in Ireland. The first night will be spent at a first-class hotel, and the other five nights will be spent at a variety of quaint farmhouse B&B’s.

For the $599 ticket price you can depart from Baltimore, JFK, Boston, or Washington (DCA) aboard Aer Lingus. Add $100 to the tab and you can fly round-trip from Los Angeles and San Francisco. If you're in the Midwest and want to leave from Chicago you’ll pay $669.

The package price also includes a one week car rental with unlimited milage–great for tooling around the Irish countryside. Each morning you will be treated to a full Irish breakfast and upon arrival you will be greeted with a complimentary Irish coffee welcome reception.

This deal won't have you running for the airport to meet the travel dates, either. You do need to book the trip by the end of February, but once that’s done you will have plenty of time to plan for the trip, and you can travel anytime between April 1st and May 31st, 2002.

A good site to start your Irish itinerary planning is http://www.ireland.travel.ie/home/. This site lists upcoming events in Ireland, which may help you decide when to visit. For example, the Dublin Film Festival is coming up April 20th-21st. Learn more about the Festival. The site also allows you to enter a location and find everything from nightclubs and restaurants to beaches and caves, in the area.

Have you always dreamed of kissing the Blarney stone? The “magical” stone is embedded high in an ancient castle, nestled in the village of Blarney. The Blarney Stone is known for giving “the gift of gab” to all those who kiss it. For more information on the Blarney Stone Click Here.

You can’t leave Ireland without having a pint at a pub. Dublin is famous for its pubs, and there are plenty to choose from. You can spend the evening trying different beers, traditional Irish food, and enjoying live entertainment. To find an area map and a lists of pubs by theme Click Here.

$77 per person for an automatic! I think I'd stick with the stick shift. Funny! This sounds great, Kerri.
