Darjeeling tea is from the Himalayan foothills of northern India and regarded as the Champagne of teas for its unparalleled taste and flavour. Darjeeling has a delicate flavour and aroma.

Lapsang Souchong, from China's Fukian province, is made from four year old tea leaves, traditionally dried with the smoke from burning pine roots. Consequently, it has a smoky aroma and flavour.
