Review: Writing a Children's Book - Course by Sally Odgers

The course guides you from start to finish - from preparing and sorting your ideas in order to begin writing, to finishing the last chapter. After going through each section of the lessons and trying to apply what I've learned, I can already see that it has saved me what would have potentially been wasted time and effort, had I gone ahead and jumped right into writing the book that my friend and I had in mind. It's clear to me that we now have to rethink a few elements of the book. So, thanks to this course, I now have a better concept of not only structure and story specifics, but of several business aspects that need to be considered, as well.

I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to write for children and young adults. I'm sure I'll be referring back to what I've learned and implementing it until it becomes a natural part of my writing process.
