Your Warm and Fuzzies List

You could write your own version of this and post it up somewhere to remind you what things to always keep in your life. I did this because with health problems, sometimes it is easy to focus on only what isn't going right. Keep what is dear to you near to you.

Warm & Fuzzies

Take Time to make your own "warm & fuzzy" list and put it somewhere where you can see it daily. Here are some of mine as an example.

Mark is my husband and best friend who I'll been married to for 14 years August 30th.

My most favorite "warm & fuzzies" come from: Helping somebody, somehow, for no other good reason other that I was able to; my heart smiles when I can make a difference.

Nurturing is a part of who I am and what revitalizes my spirit. It is the "medicine science didn't invent".

Just as one tiny seed becomes a virtual oasis when given love and care, small, concentrated efforts from many people create a world less apt to judge unfairly, and one that reaches out with open arms to help.

I am Mistress Motzko and in my garden grows tiny buds that will sprout into programs and services where none ever existed for The Epilepsy Connection.

More of my Warm & Fuzzies can be a springboard for your own:

  1. Riding a bike in an airy open place with green trees and sunshine.
  2. Taking a long walk through tree-shaded paths with a loved one.
  3. Waking up early, going to the park and listening to all the birds sing their morning serenade.
  4. Walking out on the pier when it's not too hot, not too cold, and just right- then listening to the sea while casting my troubles in the ocean.
  5. Picking an interesting place I've never been before, creating a delectable menu, then setting out with picnic basket & map in hand with Mark to Make Wonderful Things Happen.
  6. Taking a really good book or two or three and finding a shady tree and reading...just because it is one of those often forgotten, simple pleasures.
  7. Turning the TV off, listening to relaxing music while being cuddled in Mark's loving arms.
  8. Sitting at a cafe table, gazing at the people walking and talking, while being mesmerized by Mark's loving eyes.
  9. Buying some roller skates, padding my knees up, and being prepared to fall again and again-and laugh over and over.
  10. Taking the time to create a new melody, play a favorite old one, and say hello to the person inside me that hides most of the time. That person writes songs that create magic; inside my songs lie the portal to my soul.
