Biodiversity and Exotic Species
As a result of this threat to biodiversity, many groups are supporting the reintroduction and/or protection of natural species, especially plant species. Landscapers can choose to use natural species over exotic ornamentals, an especially useful idea in drought-prone areas. Volunteer groups can host exotic clean-ups, to physically root out and destroy invasive plants and give the natural flora a chance to replenish.
