I've noticed a steadily growing trend in the Technology sector over the last few years.... Actually, maybe it's a shrinking trend. At any rate, it's a trend, and that's all we need to know to get us started.
Truly America is the land of the free and the home of the trends. Have you gotten your scooter yet? Well then how about that Pokémon movie for your kids? I could go on, but suffice to say that we've all given in to a trend at one point in our lives. I happen to enjoy playing video games. Of course I try to convince myself that this is not in any response to a particular trend, but more of a simple hobby which I enjoy. I've come to realize that all people engaged in 'trendiness' have convinced themselves of this, so I'm coming to accept my fate. I said all of that for a purpose, of course. The trend I started out talking about is something that we will all find ourselves partaking in in the future. It's a little thing (a very little thing) called micro-technology. It's the process of making our portable CD players more portable, and our watches more worth watching. I'm sure this trend has been developing for some time, but it wasn't really until recently that it actually started to really be noticeable. You all know what an MP3 player is, right? It's that little technological marvel that allows you to download all the illegally copied songs you want, in CD quality audio, onto a little machine the size of a pack of cigarettes, and infinitely more healthy. Sorry, didn't mean to politicize that. Anyway, I'm beginning to see MP3 players with the same capacity as the larger models, which you would be able to use not only as an MP3 player, but as a common wristwatch. How cool is that? (Off the subject somewhat: If you just recently picked up one of these new MP3 players, and you need something good to download to it, head on over to my MP3.com site at http://www.mp3.com/chrismbrown and check out some of my music. You’re guaranteed to like it, or your money back.) Anyway, it's all about the cool, too. We all know that. Kids won't want it if it's not cool, groovy, hip, gnarly, whatever. I don't know the lingo, but I know when I like it. MP3 players aren't the only things getting smaller. Computers come in sizes ranging from: "How am I going to fit this under my computer desk?" To: "Honey, have you seen my computer anywhere?" We just recently purchased our first notebook system. It's a monster in performance, but very reasonable in size. The scary thing is it's the fastest computer we own, but also the smallest. (By the way, if you're looking for great prices and service on an excellent notebook system go to http://www.powernotebooks.com) Go To Page: 1 2
