David isn't try to be mean by his comment.
Let me share another "Davidism": Audiences really don't care what clowns look like; they just want to be entertained. "They don't much care about your costume and shoes," writes David. "They readily accept clowns who don't do magic or balloons or stilt walking. Audiences have only one unyielding demand of clowns and that is comedy." Are you clowning for the right reasons?
