The Accidental Gardener
My garden has also led to the setting up of a web site devoted to it and the answering hundreds of emails requesting gardening information or how best to help local birds in winter. With the garden and web site combined it has been something of a fulltime occupation.
Now after 11 years of public garden openings and many years of enjoyable gardening and wildlife observations, this particular chapter is now coming to a close. It will be sad to leave the garden I have created from scratch and grown to love. Looking ahead, I plan on taking a break from gardening for a while and perhaps renew my original passion of bird watching, which will be well catered for in the Inner Hebrides. I hope you have enjoyed reading these articles as much as I have enjoyed writing them. It has been fun and something of different experience. I have a reader down in Kent who will miss my occasional references to Sophie my cat. I can reassure her that Sophie will still be able to play in her garden adventure playground for a little while yet. Late Summer Browsing
