Maples -- A Tree for All Seasons

Chapter 7 discusses several propagation methods as they apply to Maples. They can be grown from seed. The ‘cultivars’ have to be reproduced by various grafting or layering methods, and through cuttings.

Who Should Buy This Book

It is sometimes hard to determine who would be most likely to read a garden related book. Although this book is part of a “Gardener’s Guide” series, I believe that professional landscapers or nursery people and foresters would be more likely to benefit from it than a typical home owner. I do feel this book should be available at local libraries for those who just want to find some information on a particular species. Now, if you are like me, you’ll want to read it anyway!
