POISON: PART THREE© Kathleen Newton
Many common plants have poisonous properties, ranging from skin irritation to death. It's important to know if you have houseplants that have toxic qualities, especially if you also have children or pets. The following is a list of hazardous plants, and their effects. This list includes many common indoor and outdoor plants. However, for a complete look at poisonous plants, their qualities, and their effects, visit your local library. There are several excellent reference books that pertain exclusively to poisonous plants.
