David Stanley

From the shadow of Elvis Presley, comes David Stanley, author, motivational speaker, creator of Solutionary Dynamics and step-brother to the one and only King of Rock 'n' Roll.

I'd like to begin by saying, I found David's new DVD/CD, "From the Shadows of The King to Solutionary Dynamics," very interesting, and I enjoyed it immensely. However, I also have to admit there were parts I would have just as soon not heard about, and because of that I'd like to throw in a word of caution here. The views on this tape are of David Stanley's only. View it with the knowledge that some events may not be described in flattering ways... take all views with a grain of salt... for the only one who knows the truth... has been gone for 26 years.

With that said, I'll continue my review.

David begins his tape with his very first memory of Elvis, when he was only four. He describes how after spending two years in a boarding home in Virginia, his mother Dee had picked him and his brothers up late one night and introduced them to their new step father, Elvis' dad, Vernon. David admits to not having a clue what an "Elvis Presley" was, as they were introduced the next morning, but he does remember however, a 25-year-old-Elvis as he kneeled down on one knee, and hugged each of the three of them and the warmth he felt in his new brother's arms.

David continues with how on that first night, while the three Stanley brothers slept, Elvis had been out buying toys. He still remembers waking up at 8:00 a.m. that first morning and being led out to the yard containing three bikes, three trikes, three cats, three dogs. Elvis had bought three of everything a young boy could imagine. David leads us down the path of his life of sex, drugs and rock and roll. He tells "all," leaving no stone unturned, beginning with that first night, and ending with a very emotional account of the night Elvis lay dead on the bathroom floor.

Some of the stories we've all heard before, and some we haven't. I know I've heard many accounts of the firework wars that took place at Graceland, but never have I heard them told the way David does, placing you right in the center of it all.

In this tape you'll learn David's plan for unlocking the power of SD. His solution: Quest Definition+Decision-Fear+Action+Focus+Quest Management=Success!
