EP 25: The 25th Anniversary Begins

Following the meeting we were given run of the park. It was great fun walking through the same park Elvis use to love. Jane who runs the Essential Elvis Presley Fan Club in Calgary, Canada, having more nerve than I did, rode the Zippin Pippin. I was glad I’d chosen to keep my feet planted firmly on the ground, when she came off the ride more than a little “shook up“.

Jamie Coynes at the Airport Inn on Brooks Rd was an exciting event with tribute artists, celebrities, and camera crews from Good Morning America. I’ve been to several of Jamie’s shindigs and he really knows how to throw a party.

Jamie gave me my first big break so to speak, by giving me a spot for my very first book signing for Melody Sanders and my newly released Walk a Mile in Their Shoes. I was honored to sit next to Donna Presley and the lovely ---- Natasha (you'll hear more about this wonderful artist soon).

Jamie's show is put on by Elvis Extravaganza , which is the largest EP fan club in the world.

The big winners of Jamies regional contest were 1st Place: Jimmy King Kai, 2nd Place: Tony Grova 3rd Place: Michael Vegas.

Elvis videos were shown continously on the gigantic screen across from the mansion in front of the shops where you could bring a chair or just sit on the grass. TV clips, movie clips and concert footage were enjoyed by all.
