More memories sent in by fans of how they felt when they heard the devastating news of Elvis Presley's death.

The first one is by Judy Davis:

I remember every detail clearly of the day Elvis died. I worked as a waitress in a family owned steak house. The owner, Buddy, was good friends with the owner of a local radio station, and played that station in the dining room. I came through the swinging doors from the kitchen to the dining room with several platters of food stacked up my arm, just as the station DJ announced the unbelievable news that Elvis was dead. I froze in horror, and every platter I held hit the floor. The thing I remember next was the total silence in the dining room. No one moved, or said a word. It was eerie to be in a crowded public place like that. It is a day I will never forget.

I had perfect strangers in my home and I just stood there frozen... I looked at them and said "the rest of the house is that way". And yes I cried. P.S. I still have the ticket

Nicole Vance sent this one:

Actually, ...I was not even born yet. But, he died exactly one month and one year before I was born...to the day! I was born on Oct. 16, 1978. And
