Connie: Travis, how long have you been performing Elvis ? Travis: Four years now. June: where did you first appear as an Elvis Tribute artist ? Travis: In 1994 at a business convention on a whim I had never done it before..rented a suit as a gag. I thought it would liven up our company party. Everyone thought they hired a pro and it went on from there. Connie: What did you do before performing as Elvis ? Travis: I was in the Army, stationed at FT. Knox, Kentucky. Ginger: Did you ever get to see Elvis live in concert? Travis: No. I didn't get to see Elvis in concert..wish I could have. I remember watching the Elvis:Aloha from Hawaii, and his Elvis in Concert in 1977. Laurie: Where are you originally from, Travis? Travis: I'm originally from Iowa. Cheryl: Do you still live there now ? Travis: Yes I live in Iowa, its nice to be centrally located in the US for shows. I would love to move to Florida, but it's too far away for shows. Connie: How old are you Travis ? Travis: I'm 31. Janey: Do you do all three eras ? Travis: Yes all three. Deb: Which era is your favorite one to do ? Travis: I really enjoy the Vegas era..it has allot of power and I enjoy emulating Elvis' power on stage. Janey: Do you wear the black leather outfit, Travis ? Travis: Yes I wear the black leather on stage and on my Travis Web site. . Deb: The Harley entrance. Is that just for the 68 Comeback that you do ? Travis: Yes the Harley is for the 68 Comeback. Cheryl: What's your favorite song, Travis ? Travis: Well, I would say out of 750 plus songs, I love the ballads best. I like Hurt, but for fast ones I love Polk Salad Annie. Ginger: Do you watch films of Elvis concerts to move like him ? Travis: Yes, I watch all of the Elvis movies and concert footage. Sherry: Are you married ? Travis: Yes I'm married happily for 12 years now. I have two boys, ages 11 & 8 years. Sherry: I was wondering how a significant other would deal with
