We continue our trek through Elvis movies week with 21 through 31. Three stars for good, *** four stars for Elvisly great ***** and five stars for outstanding . *****

21. We begin this set with "Frankie and Johnny." A totally different style, this 1955 musical was based on the popular folk song of the same name. Sue Ane Langdon represents his love interest, while Nancy Kovack plays the red-headed Nellie Bly. Harry Morgan, before "MASH" fame, makes an interesting cast addition. ***

22. The race car circuit once again pits the duo of Elvis and Shelly Fabres together. This time in a delightful little comedy named "Spinout," filmed in 1966. It co-stars Deborah Walley, Will Hutchins, Warren Berlinger and Carl Betz. The King once again proves how well he can break into song both in, and out, of a speeding car. ****

23. Next Elvis shows us his stuff as a Navy frogman who discovers treasure. "Easy Come, Easy Go," was filmed in 1966 with Dodie Marshall, Pat Harrington Jr. and Elsa Lanchester. ***

24. "Double Trouble" made its apperance in 1967 with Elvis, as an in the role of an American singing sensation. In this one Elvis travels to Europe, and lands in the middle of some intriguing spies, jewel thieves, and discotheques. Watch for the popular, "Long Legged Girl,"( With The Short Dress On). Performed as only Elvis, knew how. ***

This time, Elvis portrays the a son of a Texas oil baron who trades places with a penniless water ski instructor, played by Will Hutchins. This movie contains some some fun, excellent songs "You Don't Know Me," and "The Girl I Never Loved" are just a few. I think you'll enjoy this one. *****

26. The 1968 musical comedy, "Stay Away, Joe," lands Elvis in the role a Navajo Native American rodeo rider. Yes, it's a mouthful, not to mention an unlikely character for Elvis, but it's a good movie co-starring Burgess Meredith and Joan Blondell. This movie is based on the best-selling book by Dan Cushman. ***

27. "Speedway" is a cute, fast-paced, musical comedy filmed in 1968 with Bill Bixby and Gale Gordon. This movie places Elvis back in the seat of a race car. This time Nancy Sinatra co-stars as an IRS agent after him for
