Yes indeed, Elvis has left this old building, but only to take up residence in his brand new location at
Elvis, the Guys and the Music
As most of you probably know, I've been writing the Elvis Column now since June 17, 1998. Here's that first article for Suite 101 Memories of Elvis It's a little hokey I know, but hey, it got me the job. After six years I've came to the conclusion that both the Elvis Column and I, are due for a change. Over the last six years of being connected with Suite 101, and the Elvis column, I've had the pleasure of being able to meet hundreds of Elvis fans, from all over the world. I will always cherish the good times of having this column. One of the people I was lucky enough to meet thru Elvis, is Melody Sanders, who you know from the Elvis Tribute Artist Column here on the Suite. Even though her and I live what feels like a worlds apart, we've managed to combine our fascination with Elvis, tribute artists, and writing, with both a previous Elvis column on Themestream, and our book "Walk a Mile in Their Shoes". So with a change in mind, it only seems natural that Melody and I combine our thoughts and experiences now for a brand new convenient one-stop Elvis bonanza. We'll also have a new discussion board, so be sure and add your thoughts while you're there. Feel free to start a discussion on anything you'd like, as long as it's Elvis related and Elvis Positive. We'll also include a list of links that will lead you back to some of our old articles, so never fear, your favorites won't be lost in the shuffle. Here are a few of the groupings we have now. We'll both be adding more later. Interviews with Elvis Celebrities - Here's where you'll find a collection of interviews with Kathy Westmoreland, D.J.Fontana, Larry Geller, Will Hutchins and more. ETA Interviews - Then there are those fantastic special group of guys that help keep the memory going known as the tribute artist. Here are a few of the interviews we've done with some of the best in the world. Contests-Before, During and After!- The exposure and fan following of an ETA Contest can make or break the beginning stages of a budding career. Either way, contests are plentiful if not controversial. Take a look! Go To Page: 1 2
