Coating: 6 large Jersey Milk Chocolate Bars
1/4 bar paraffin wax
1 - 16 oz. semi sweet chocolate Chips

Heat in double boiler on low heat. Keep chocolate warm while dipping balls into coating. Cool on waxed paper. Freezes well and unthaws quickly Option: cover balls with whipping cream or candy

Rum Cake

Cake:
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 18 oz pkg. yellow cake mix
1 3 3/4 pkg. Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
4 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 Wesson oil
1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum (80 proof)

If using yellow cake mix pudding already in the mix: omit instant pudding, use 3 eggs instead of 4, 1/3 cup oil instead of 1/2

Glaze:
1/4 lb. butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum (80 proof)

Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour 10" tube or 12-cup Bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. Mix all cake ingredients together. Pour batter over nuts. Bake 1 hour. Cool. Invert on serving plate. Prick top. Spoon and brush glaze evenly over top and sides, until desired consistency.

Glaze: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 minutes., stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in rum.

Optional: Decorate with border of sugar frosting or whipped cream.

Kahlua recipe!

1 Pint of water (app. 2 cups)
2 1/2-3 cups. White Sugar
6 tbsp.Instant Coffee
1/2 cup.water
4 tsp.Vanilla
2 tsp.Gylcerin
26 oz. Alcohol

Boil 1 pint of water with the sugar for 5 mins.
Dissolve the coffee in the 1/2 cup of water and add to the sugar water.
Add vanilla, then pour in 1/2 gallon jug and shake.
Add alcohol and glycerin and shake well.
Makes 52 oz-ready to go!
