Christmas Recipes from the Guys... and Others Too!!!

I asked the guys for their favorite recipes a few years ago and I thought it was that time of the year that we got to hear them again!! If anyone is interested.... please send taste test samples to June or Mel !!! :-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

FRENCH CHOCOLATE TWINKIE

7 oz. Flour
1 Tbsp. B.Soda
2 Tbsp. Shortening
1/4 Cup. Milk
1 Egg
1 Cup. Of Sugar

Combine these and mix into a rich batter. Fill into cupcake holders. Bake at 400 Degrees for 10 mins. Take out of the oven; use a spoon to push a hole into each cup. Fill each cup with whip cream mix, cover with Chocolate Chips... Bake for 5 mins.. Viola... French Chocolate Twinkie!

OLD FASHIONED TURKEY DRESSING
Cut Up Bread
Sage
Salt and Pepper
onions
Seasoning
Mix it altogether, dampen it a little and stuff it in the Turkey!!!

Have a very happy and healthy, safe and enjoyable Christmas. In these modern times it is hard, we live a fast busy paced life. Let us at least take the time out and enjoy those close to us and seek to strive on the "Why can't everyday be like Christmas" theme. So from my home to yours... Merry Christmas Baby!

It's simple really Cinnamon apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream heated!

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES:
2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup softened butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 package Sam's Choice Real Milk Chocolate Chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in bowl and set aside. Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, softened butter or margarine and vanilla and beat until creamy. Add eggs and beat. Add dry ingredients and mix will. Stir in Sam's Choice Real Milk Chocolate Chips and chopped nuts (if desired). Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls onto un greased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Makes approximately 100-2" cookies.
