Below, you will find links to many depression web sites. You'll notice that some of the sites are not aimed directly at the elderly. I did this because many of the signs, symptoms, and treatments can be applied to anyone, not just to the elderly.

AgeNet: Depression in the Elderly

This is another starter web site, but is helpful to caregivers in understanding their loved one's depression.

New York University Department of Psychiatry

This page has an online screening test that you can take to see if you are currently at risk for depression. It is not uncommon for caregivers to feel depressed. So, even if you feel fine right now, it won't hurt to take the test. Stress builds up and often goes undetected.
