Beware of Death Threats in the Classroom,Beware of Death Threats in the ClassroomBeware of Death Threats in the Classroom There is a girl one of my classes who considers herself to be a witch. She really truly believes herself to be one. She is constantly telling people about her beliefs and sporting the attire that accompanies her religious stance. I am sure that schools in North America are seeing increasing numbers of such students in their schools. Should we draw the line somewhere? In this story it becomes evident that careful measures must be taken when dealing with such cults. I have never personally had problems with the girl. However, just recently she began casting spells on people. First it was a rumor, then I was hearing her talk to students who bothered her, and then it was me. Yes, just the other day she cast a spell on me, a curse she said, for being a stingy marker. I laughed it off, thinking how silly it was and how funny it was that she actually believed that her curse would come true. However, others were not so “easily cursed”. A little while later she cast another curse on a boy, but it involved the threat of a painful death by sword. The kid was worried and he called Crime Stoppers. All of a sudden the entire school was surrounded by police in full protective uniform. Even the principal didn’t know what was going on. They ran into the classroom and plucked the girl (the witch) out. The kids who had called were really scared now. They ran across the field when the police started chasing them. They actually had an innocent student drive them home. When the police started chasing them, the innocent kid had to stop and hadn’t a clue why he was being searched. In the end, the entire group was taken back to school. The girl’s locker was searched, and there was a huge sword hiding in it. I was very surprised about this because I never thought that she was this serious about it. The girl, who is the only Native American student in the school, had a lot of family problems. I attribute part of her behavior to this. She is now in jail and the school is breathing a lot easier without constantly having curses put on it. The morale of this story is- take every death threat seriously- you never know what might happen- we almost lost a great student for ignoring a curse.,Beware of Death Threats in the Classroom There is a girl one of my classes who considers herself to be a witch.
