Software for A Cause

One of my favorite software bargain sites is launching a fundraising effort for the families of the firefighters lost in the recent terroist attacks.

There is a good selection of titles for both children and adults here. So, if there is something you've been wanting to purchase, now is a good time as 50% of the proceeds will go to a good cause.

Several titles from the Reader Rabbit Series are available including the ones for toddler through 2nd grade and Math Journey for grades 1 to 3. Many cd-roms from the Carmen SanDiego series are also available. And don't overlook Miss Spider's Tea Party for ages 3 to 7. Want to learn German, typing, chess, or history? There has been an update on the site today. So far they have raised nearly $7000, and the proceeds will now go to the Firefighters and Police Officer's Family Relief Fund.

Remember they are donating 50% of the cost of each cd-rom to the relief fund. The cost is the same as always, but half of it will go to the survivors of the men and women who lost their lives trying to save others in the recent terrorist attacks in America.
