So now you have your web files and your ebook. Question is, how do you offer it to the world? You need to place those files into a hard disk of a computer that is connected to the web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In other words, you need a web host provider. But first things first. You need to decide on what to call your web site. 1. Get Your Own Domain Name What's a domain name? It's that dot com thing. You know -- Yourname.com It helps make your site easier to remember. Some even say it may help your site get a better ranking in various search engines. For example, if two sites were about Iliad Study Notes, which one would you go to? Viloria.com or IliadStudyNotes.com ? So, it pays to know what people are searching for in the first place. You can always weave those sought-after words in your domain name. To find out what people are looking for, check out http://www.goodkeywords.com If, for example, you discover that more people are searching for "Iliad Summaries" rather than "Iliad Study Notes" then it might be better to name your site IliadSummaries.com, right? Armed with your keywords and your topic of interest, register your domain name at http://www.000domains.com (I use them because it is so easy to point your domain name to this or that location or web host.)
