thinking about a NEW eBook Cover, hiring a professional, or even just creating it yourself with a DIY template.

  1. Make sure the entire graphic template is clean, neat, and professional in appearance.
  2. Make sure the image is original and creative, but try not to over do and/or make it too busy.
  3. Use examples of other eBook Covers that you like to inspire you to create or your professional to create something similar but yet original.
  4. Acquire more images in different sizes (some eBook Covers do not reduce or enlarge well). Three sizes will generally work well to your advantage.
  5. Try out some different background colors or even a background color that matches your eBook Cover colors(s).
  6. Start Fresh with a whole New look for your eBook Cover, do not re-create what you already have for the eBook Cover. Keep this as a back-up or use as competition to your original eBook Cover.
  7. Try adding photographs to your eBook Cover or additional text like a catchy phrase or sub-title to enhance the cover. This does not work for all covers!
  8. Know when to hire a professional! If you can't get your eBook Cover just right, then don't settle for less and hire a professional to get the proper results. Shop around and find the best deal too!

  10. Try a new style for the eBook Cover. There are certainly many many of them to choose from out there, and they can include at SLANT, FLAT, series, groups, various other angles, eBook Cover binding (thick, thin, slant, rounded corner, notebook etc.), and also other eCover options such as an eBag, eBox, eT-shirt, and more!

Basically the options are unlimited these days since there are many FREE templates available and various sizes, shapes, styles, colors, and more. Your professional eBook cover designer usually has their own unique selections as well too!
