Feeding the soulHow many times a day do you get hungry? Is it physical, mental, spiratual, or emotional? Do you know the difference? Eating for a longer, happier, more successful life can be a rewarding experience. First you must learn to focus on those feelings inside of you, the ones you have, until now, avoided. Try the following exercise: Close your eyes Let your body relax, slowly, starting with your toes. Tense...relax...breath. (You should be either sitting or lying down for this exercise, no driving, please) :-) Think about the last time you overate. Where were you? Who were you with? How did you feel? Anger? Sadness? Depression? Boredom? Sexually Repressed? If you continue this exercise, allowing your mind to focus on your state of mind, and circumstances, you will get to the point in your exercise that allows you to see why you are eating too much, for the wrong reasons. This is an excellent way to get in touch with your soul, to find out what you are really hungering for, a new job? someone to listen to you? excitement? a change? Find what your soul needs, and feed it. Your mind, heart and body will thank you.
