Breakfast is often overlooked in our mad rush and busy lives. Yet, it really is the most important meal of the day. So, how does a busy woman fit breakfast into her day? Well, I could try to tell you something you've never heard before, like, say, a briefcase that cooks bacon. But....something tells me you're not gonna fall for that.
No, instead of a new idea, I want to give you a well known idea, with a twist. The best way to get your breakfast in is to have it in a glass. (An insulated, travel mug, if necessary) I'm talking about a nice, healthy, breakfast shake. So, how to do this? Betty's Breakfast Beautiful 1 medium, ripe banana 5 medium, juicy strawberries 1 8-oz glass of 2% milk 1 4-oz container of plain, unsweetened, yogurt 4 ice cubes 1 tsp of sugar 1 handful of nuts (can be walnuts, pecans...etc)(optional) 3 slices of pineapple, in unsweetened juice Place all ingredients in a blender. Set on blend, or ice function, and blend for 1 minute. Pour into your to go glass, and enjoy a wonderful, healthy, low fat, breakfast. This drink is good for children, as well, however, I do not recommend the nuts for children, due to potential choking hazard. Go To Page: 1
