Lose 75 pounds in 15 days! Ok, not really, but, now that I have your attention, let's talk about real weight loss solutions.
Although there are many possible solutions, and they will all work, there are few that will help you to maintain your weight loss. The actual losing, though it seems terrible at the time, is not really the hardest part. That honor belongs to maintaining your weight loss. Anyone that has ever lost a large amount of weight, only to gain it back, will back me on that statement 100%. So, what helps a person to lose permanant, long term, life time, weight? Well, a good, sound, healthy, reasonable eating program, to start with. Then, good habits follow closely. What good habits? Well, lots of water, plenty of self esteem, good grooming, and, you guessed it, exercise. So, what if you hate to exercise? Well, that's not as much of a problem as it may seem, at first. Few people are true, dedicated, couch potatoes. Most people have many activities that they enjoy, but the word exercise creates sweating, nightmares, and stress. What if I told you that walking through the mall, looking at all of those things you love, is exercise? Come on, take your hands from your ears, this is really good info! All of these could be exercise: All day shopping at the antique mall. Swimming and walking on the beach. Walking up the stairs instead of taking the elevator. (Unless you live on the 20th floor - now that is a brave heart!) Riding your bicycle. Dancing the night away. Cleaning your house. Mowing and raking the yard. See anything that you like or that you do sometimes? Well, that's exercise and it ain't all that bad! The list above is just a small notation, there are literally thousands of activities that most people enjoy anyway, that qualify for exercise. Make up your mind to get off of that couch, or out from in front of that computer (when you're through reading this) and get out there and have fun! Go To Page: 1
