New Info on Men and Boys with Eating Disorders

There is a British website http://www-users.aston.ac.uk/~pieronim/i... which acknowledges that "studies indicate that very few men actually receive treatment for their eating difficulties. This could be due to health care professionals' poor ability to recognise (sic) eating disorders in men. It may be that men are less willing to seek treatment." The site includes a questionaire, which will be used in upcoming research on eating disorders. Numerous links to related sites are also available. Whatever the reasons, every effort needs to be made to ensure that men have an equal opportunity to access treatment services. The following survey has been designed to find out the attitudes, of men with eating difficulties, toward seeking professional help For the record I've also found a few very interesting articles at the NY Post site, but when I went back to use them for this story, I found they had been archived and are now available only if you buy a subscription. So, unfortunately I won't be able to share those articles with you and unfortunately for them, I won't be able to link you to their site.
