It's truly amazing, the quantity of information that is just a few keystrokes away via the internet.

The topic of Eating Disorders is one I've covered for for many years now, and I continue to come across sites I've never found before. These sites provide a wealth of information on eating disorders and related subjects.

Along those lines, today's article will provide links to some new and different sites with new information and fresh perspectives on eating disorders.

http://www.lentilhealth.com/eating.html LENTILHEALTH.COM Is a great place to find health news from over 2000 online publications, and is updated as often as every 15 minutes. If it's health realted and it's happening now, you'll find it on LentilHealth.com. Their section on eating disorders provides eating disorder news from around the world.

http://www.mentalhelp.net/poc/center_ind... MENTALHELP.NET Although this site was developed in 1995 as a resource for mental health professionals, I've found it to be a great place to find informative, detailed information about anorexia, builimia and related disorders.

I realize that a 'diet' site might not be at the top of your list of eating disorder sites.... but suprisingly, EDIETS.COM had a great archive of eating disorder articles. I started at their home page and searched for eating disorders. The articles produced were varied and interesting.

http://open-mind.org/ED.htm OPEN-MIND.ORG This site is intended to help those in or seeking recovery from various addictions as well as family, friends, anxiety sufferers & abuse survivors, to find information, support & resources. The site offers links & information about support & recovery groups , as well as email & discussion groups, treatment facilities & various recovery-related, self-help & mental health sites. Also featured is a research, news & articles section, a complete self-help online bookstore, as well as a recovery giftstore.

HEALTHCENTRAL.COM HealthCentral provides the latest consumer health information including news, mini-checkups, health library, encyclopedia, quizzes, tools. Their Eating Disoders section includes a number of articles by Dr. Dean Edell, in addition to an 'ask the experts' section.
