It amazes me still, how much information can be found on the internet. I've been writing on the subject of eating disorders for some five+ years now, and each time I do a search - I discover a new site that I hadn't seen before.

This article will highlight a few sites that I've come across in the past few weeks, which may prove both interesting and informative to you as well.

Mental-Health-Resources.com is a site full of information on mental health issues ranging from child and adolescent issues to grieving and death issues. Under sub category 'disorders' you will find a link to the section devoted to eating disorders. They have the section sorted by type of disorders as well as organizations, support groups and treatment. Their 'links' section has a great selection of links to eating disorder sites and is easily organized for quick review.

Sugar_Highs is someone's personal little site. But I found it interesting as it approaches the complex issues of diabetes and eating disorders. I'm not sure if I've ever considered this aspect of the disorder, and appreciate the personal twist the webmaster at Sugar_Highs uses in presenting her information.

ED Resarch if the site to visit to learn about research being done in the field of eating disorders. Read research papers and learn about collaborative studies being done in the field. Their introduction explains that they are "A multi-site, international collaborative group of investigators is studying the genetics of anorexia and bulimia nervosa. These collaborative studies have generated a substantial amount of data on the clinical phenomena and genetics of eating disorders."
