The Development of a Modern Educational System in Thailand




It is true that Thailand lags behind in the region in English language ability and research is generally at a low level. Still, there are signs of improvement and the current government, like so many before it, at least understands the importance of education and is pursuing policies designed to encourage lifelong learning and personal responsibility. Nevertheless, there is still a long way to go.
