stats. At first I thought this was not so bad then I discovered that points are not simply added to attributes. To raise a score from 8 to 14 cost only 6 points . To take that 14 to a 15 takes 2 more points and another 2 points to get your 15 to a 16.A score of 17 or higher cost 3 points. I really felt cheated. I could not enter in my favorite character and I couldn’t even make a copy of one of the pre generated characters that came with the game. However just when I was ready to quit in disgust so I decided to look for some help. After a quick web search I found a few sites that had cheats and tips on how to make adjustments to your characters. Gumby the Borg’s Pool of Radiance character editor was just what I needed. With it I was able to enter in the stats for the fighter mage I have played for years. Using the character editor you can more easily make the adjustments that you might expect to be able to make. If you’re interested in learning to play 3rd edition Dungeons and Dragons but don’t have anyone to teach you then I highly recommend you get a players handbook , SSI’s Pool of Radiance Ruins of Myth Drannor, and Gumby the Borgs character editor.
