them if necessary. Holding the selected flowers together, place the pick so that it is halfway down the length of the stems. Begin wrapping the wire around the stems and the pick. Two things are accomplished with floral picks. First, you can mix and match different colors and varieties of flowers together and second, you can add length to a group of flowers. You can also use the process for a single flower to get the needed length. Once you have your clusters ready, just push the pick into the base. You don’t like how it looks, all you have to do is unpick it and place it somewhere else.

You can also use floral picks to secure tiny pinecones. Just intertwine the wire around the fingers of the cone then wire it in place.
