Your learning style should match their teaching style. If you are having trouble grasping a concept, do you need to stop and talk it over or try a new exercise with the same goal? Your instructor should be able to tailor their teaching techniques to your learning needs.
Realize that what was true of outgrowing a horse can also be true of an instructor. He/she may not be able to be what you need any longer. But don’t be hasty about going from one instructor to another. If you find yourself changing instructors on a pretty regular basis, it’s YOUR problem, not theirs. THIRD- Not enough____________(Fill in all that apply: Time, Money, Time and Money, Family Support, Etc, All of the Above). Hey, I’m not a miracle worker! But I’ll say it again. Life is too short.
