Just a short few years later, the First Presidency of the church called Merrill in for a meeting, once again. They wanted a new film to replace Legacy. A committee for the film actually had something closely resembling a script ready for Merrill. He knew it would not fly, so he received permission to rewrite it as a genuine movie script. Whatever he did to the script worked like a charm, because it truly is a film that will make you cry. One other thing worth mentioning here is the depiction of Christ.

The 2002 Olympics are on their way to Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. If you happen to be in the area in the next year, I suggest you take a quick visit to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and catch showing of Testament: of One Fold and One Shepard. This is not necessarily a film for only the Christian; it is also for everyone who truly enjoys a breathtaking drama.
