Bruce Litton took T/F with a fun of 4.752 at 305.98. Shirley Muldowney has been threatening but rolled throught the lights early to earn herself an early ticket home.
Pro Mod was Fred Hahn's Blown '53 Corvette finishing with a 6.32 at 205 MPH. Politics is heating up in a blown vs. nitro competition. The Big N boys think Mancuso's blower is too big and he is saying "sour grapes."
Fuel Harley was all team Mancuso with Johnny M and Steve Stordium lining up side by side. Johnny got out of shape to hand his running mate the win. Johnny set fast speed though earlier with a 216 MPH scream.
Funny car went to the Nitro Fish team who ran 5.924 at 238.93.
On the NHRA side at National Trail in Columbus, OH:
"Brute" Force packed up early but team mate Tony Pedregon took home the tropy. Mark Pawuk made the Pontiac People happy by grabbing the Pro Stock victory and Pro Stock S-10 went to Randy Daniels again.
Top Fuel was taken home by the "Shoe" Schumacher and the little Cajun girl, Angelle Seeling won her third meet this year.
