This weeks article is very brief for several reasons.
The Studebaker wishes to extend his heartfelt condolences to all the Petty Family and racing fans everywhere on the untimely death of Adam Petty. No matter what auto racing sport, we all feel the loss.
The NHRA is in Englishtown this weekend and it is beginning to look like no category has a commanding lead with the possible exception of Pro Stock S-10. Martino wants to take the Pro Stock in front of his home town crowd but he has the Jeggers and the Johnsons standing between him and the finish line. Funny car too, is getting more interesting with "Brute" Force trying to look more WWF than the WWF boys. I just hope we don't see any body slams after the race. I saw a great T-shirt at the Southern Nationals but don't know who to give the credit to. Drop me a line if you know who makes it and I'll give them credit. T-shirt says: "Winners drive straight and hard to the finish line while all those other guys run around in circles looking for it." or something to that effect. Next week will be Englishtown results and some photos from various events this year. Studebaler Go To Page: 1
