Richmond, VA NHRA results and the boys of the ADBA

The results are in for the Richmond, VA run and the names are all familiar. T/F Larry Dixon (my boy) for Don Prudhommes team beat the Wise One-Kenny Bernstein. Dixon ran 4.674 at 314.53

After a computer delay (bring back the starting flags) John Force beat Ron Capps in a pedaling contest. No body pedals better than force. Although John was slow off the line (.504 RT) he smoked his way to a 5.913 at 236.01 mph.

In Pro Stock, Jeg Coughlin continues to dominate this year. Jim Yates is his latest victim by .060 seconds. Jeggie ran 6.861 at 199.73 mph.

And in P/S S-10 class, Randy Daniels wooped Mike Coughlin in one of the closest races of the weekend. Daniels beat Coughlin by .003 seconds. That is a shave.

In the south this weekend (first weekend of May) we have the Southern Nationals in Commerce, GA which yours truly will attend. I will get the ADBA race results from Inspector Baskerville who will be with the ADBA crew in Darlington, SC.

If you are in the Carolina Area this weekend, scoot on over to see those all fuel Harleys roar. Doing over 200 mph on two wheels has always impressed old Studie and the roar is difficult to describe.
