Las Vegas NHRA Innaugural and IHRA Holley Spring Nationals

Las Vegas- In a great battle of the veterans Kenny Bernstein took Joe Amato for T/F champion. Funny car finals had a missing Force but Pedregon was there. Unfortunately for the Force team, Tony lost to Jim Epler in the WWF car. It was reported the team held up a championship belt as they drove down to get Epler. WJ again lost to Jeggie. Jeggie got him all the way starting at the tree and ending at the checker. My Cajun Gal, Angelle Seeling won her first of the year by beating Tony Mullen in Pro Stock Bike and Bob Panella beat Randy Daniels in the battle of S10 Pro Stock. When are the Fords and Mopars gonna get this class figured out?

In IHRA action Shirley Muldowney lost in a tire smoker in the first round. The eventual showdown was between Bruce Litton over Clay Millican. Pro Mod the coolest class of the IHRA was a battle of old Vettes with Fred Hahn in his '54 Vette taking Todd Tutterow in his '63 Vette. In Big Harley, Little Fuss, Jay Turner beat Johnny Mancuso who FOULED OUT.
