It was a cold and windy March day at the B&M Racer Appreciation run in Commerce,GA. B&M runs two primary categories on ET Bracket rules. They are separted as Foot Brake and Electronic. The race travels throughout the Southeast and is a popular race for a lot of weekend racers. Some prefer over the sanctioned events since the rules are less complicated and strict. Joe Rampley of Gainesville, GA showed how it was done by consistantly turning ET's in the high fives with his 4.3L V-6 Camaro. The Hot Rods were equally fun from a rare Fiat sighting from the old Altered days to an impressive Chevrolet Blazer.
The crowd was pretty impressive for such a cold weekend. The B&M will return to Atlanta again this fall. Watch for details in this column.
