Although Shirley Muldowney qualified fifth, she deep staged and fouled out in the first round. Calm down Shirley, just take a few deep breaths. Ever wondered what class the old family heap would run in if you took it to the strip and ran straight stock. Go to NHRA's site at http://www.nhra.com/tech_specs/classific... and look it up. For some reason, my 1990 Bronco II wasn't in it. Speaking of Bronco II's. Has anyone ever seen a Bronco Deuce on the strip. The possibility exists that I am going to find myself a 351 Windsor and a C6 tranny to see what possibilities exist in the Wild Deuce. If anyone has ever seen a rodded combo on a deuce, let me know. And finally Jim Yates is about to break young son Jamie into the world of Pro Stock. Copying every other Pro team, Jim will build a second car and put young son Jamie behind the wheel. Watch for me at the B& M Racer Appreciation run this weekend in Commerce, GA. Come up and say hi. See you at the races. Studie
