Wolf is currently writing material for their yet untitled, second full-length album. During the fall the band will return to the Abyss studio with Peter Tagtgren to record two new songs for the Japanese release of their self titled debut. The band recently signed with the Swedish booking Agency "Goatbridge Productions". Tour dates will be confirmed later this fall.

During August Insania entered the studio to record their second album. The album will probably be titled "Sunrise In Riverland". The band will work together with producer Mikko Karmila (who is known for his work with Stratovarius and Edguy to mention a few).

After completing a mini tour in Benelux countries Lobotomy have started working on their new studio album which will probably be recorded during end of 2000 and early 2001. Before the release of the full length they will do a Mini CD titled "Holly Shit" with five songs. According to the band the new album will be more close to old school death metal than their previous.

The new album of Six Feet Under will be titled "Graveyard Classics" and it will be a covers album with the band paying tribute to the bands that influenced them. The album will feature songs from Savatage, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Accept, Exodus, Sex Pistols, Angelwitch, Dead Kennedys, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Hendrix and Venom.

The new album of Axe will soon reach it's final stage. The album will be titled "The Crown" and will probably be released before winter comes.

The sluts of heavy music, Rockbitch, are currently writing their new album in France. In related news the only male member is out of the band and replaced by yet another female one. Finally the band was featured in August's issue of Penthouse in a three pages article.

The Dutch heavy / death metal band Gorefest decided to split up after 9 successful years. They leave behind 5 studio albums, 1 live album and 1 EP. "Chapter 13" was their last album and there will be no farewell album or tour.

Stormhammer have a new singer. The name of the pal is Tommy Lion. They met him in a concert in March and Tommy became a fan of the band. When he learned that Michael was about to leave the band he asked for the job and got it. He was the singer of Drifter for sometime before joining Stormhammer.

Canadian technical speed death metal gods Cryptopsy are currently recording their new album. The title of the album is "And Then You'll Beg". The album will be released in October 31st and according to the band it is the most heavy and insane material they have ever written.
