Bassist Eric Forrest has been through more surgery and his physical condition continues to improve. Voivod are currently demoing new material and already have twelve new tracks to choose from. In September they'll be on the road in their native Canada and that other place over the border before heading to Australia in October. As soon as they return they hope to start recording with Steve Albini at the controls. Watch out for a Spring 2001 release with them back in Europe shortly afterwards.

The new album of Crematory is almost finished and it is scheduled to be released in September 11th. The title of the album is "Believe" and according to the band it is dedicated to their fans.

Theater OF Tragedy have signed to Nuclear - Anybody left unsigned ? - Blast. Their new album which is titled "Musique" will be released in early October.

The first single of Hammerfall brand new album "Renegade" will be the title track and is ready for release on August 21st. It includes 2 non-album tracks plus a screensaver and video-footage of the recordings in Nashville. The video shooting for "Renegade" was completed last week in Sweden and you can see the video exclusive on the NB web page on the day of the single release.

The new album of Primal Fear will be released in January 2001. The band is already working on the album which will be titled "Nuclear Fire" and will be produced by Matt Sinner.

Shock rock overlord Lizzy Borden has completed work on his seventh album, "Deal With the Devil". Recorded in his hometown of Los Angeles, it was produced by Elliot Soloman. Todd McFarlane was enlisted to create some of the most sinister album art in recent history. McFarlane is best known for his creation of Spawn as well as covers for Korn and Iced Earth.

The new Immolation album has already been recorded this past June in Millbrook Sound Studios, with producer Paul Orofino. The album will be released in Fall 2000 and it is titled "Close To A World Below". As if this is not enough the band plans to record soon another album and have t ready for a fall 2001 release.

Vader will soon release a new MCD titled "Reign Forever World". The MCD will include 4 new songs, 2 covers (Judas Priest and Destruction), two live songs and two bonus songs from the Japanese edition of "Litany".
