Weekly Doom/Death Music News (September, 9)
There are all kind of classic metal songs in the album. The fast, the melodic, the exotic and strange "Zanzibar" and of course the ever present ballads. Almost all of the songs are excellent with only a couple of exceptions that sound somehow as "fillers" and are quite indifferent. The production of the album is almost perfect and the cover art one of the best around. With "Deal With The Devil" the band managed not only to record an excellent album but certainly one of their best, if not the best, so far. The old fans are going to love it and the younger ones should better check it out, if they want to have a glimpse of real 80's metal.
