The next album of Power Metallers Kamelot will be a live one. The title of the album will "The Live Legacy" since this is the title their fans voted over the internet. The band has already working on their new studio album as well and they have already written four new songs.

So he decided to pack his things and leave the band in the middle of their Japanese tour. The band is looking for a replacement and is planning a US tour for the summer.

Review of the week:

DARK TRANQUILLITY - Haven / Century Media

The new album from Dark Tranquillity is once again a step forward for the band. Instead of repeating what they did in their last album "Projector" which was really successful they are exploring other territories, not entirely unknown to them. They have influences from their past but mixed up with new sounds. Someone might say that this album is more extreme in one way and he will just be right about it. It is more extreme. It is more heavy and there no clean vocals in it, but that's not the only reason that the album is more extreme. The melodic parts are even more melodic than before and the heavier parts are certainly heavier than before. It's not a really atmospheric album. It's more raw. more primitive I might add. Yet it's still very technical and complex and the songs often change mood and style. There are two new members in the band and they have brought with them their personal influences. I don't know how much they contributed to the music but their presence is clear. Dark Tranquillity are slowly but steadily developing for themselves a reputation of being a band that's really progressive and this album is just going to help them in that way. The production is perfect and this gets pretty clear when you listen the album loud. If you are a fan of the band then I believe you're gonna love the album. If you are not a fan of the band but you enjoy extreme music then we suggest you check it out as soon as possible.
