Review of the week:
TRIBE OF GYPSIES - Tribe Of Gypsies III / Sanctuary
Tribe Of Gypsies are the band of Roy Z, the master mind behind Bruce's latest excellent releases. His contribution to revamping Bruce's career is more than a few good songs in his albums. This time, with his own band, he takes a brake from metal and is releasing an album that has influences and elements from gypsy music, rock and of course metal. Maybe the grooves are mainly folk but there are some killer riffs in the album. The timing for the release of the album is just great, since it's a happy album, suitable for the summer. Everybody cheers up during the summer and this album can simply be a perfect company for a few wild nights. It might even help you score a chick since this music is considered to be highly sexual. Just joking of course. The fact is that Roy Z is a genius and this album proves it once more. He can write different types of music and in different moods. The production is also very good, since it helps the band to create this "party" feeling in the sound.
